Requirements 

Degree or BTech qualification in Business Management/Project Management/Business Administration or similar relevant qualification

Project management diploma or experience

Computer literacy

4-5 years’ relevant experience

Valid Driver’s license

Key Performance Areas 

– Conducting research and investigations to collect data regarding available opportunities relevant to the Department’s functional areas – Guiding line officials in the identification of projects which are suitable for inclusion in the City’s Learnership programmes – Assisting with development of EPWP targets, monitoring thereof and reporting to the Head: EPWP – Coordinating the selection of contractors for Training Interventions – Facilitating training of EPWP workers – Arranging and facilitating appropriate awareness campaigns among local communities to illustrate the benefits of labourintensive projects – Communicating specialized knowledge of relevant Legislation, Policy and Procedures and the Department’s/Branch’s services and systems to both internal and external clients – Drafting correspondence and responding to enquiries regarding EPWP within the Department/Branch – Identifying constraints and proposing possible solutions to the Head: EPWP – Providing on-going project management, report writing and feedback on the outputs of the project
