The NFVF is a statutory body mandated by the National Film and Video Foundation Act 73 of 1997 to spearhead the equitable and development of the South African Film and Video Industry.

In partnership with the Media, Information and Communication Technologies Sector Education and Training Authority (MICT SETA), eligible applicants are invited nationally to apply for internships in the following disciplines:

Qualifications and experience:

  • Applicants must be South African citizens with a valid South African ID number.
  • Applicants must be in possession of a Matric Qualification and completed Film/
  • Television and other related Degree/National Diploma from a recognised South African Institution.
  • Applicants must submit copies of their CV, matric certificate, academic transcripts and degree/diploma.
  • Applicants must not have participated in previous SETA sponsored internship programmes.
  • Applicants must not have previously had permanent employment, is work experience such as vacation work is welcome but not required.

Duties

Clean keeping of the Laundry Environment and working area’s by following standard procedures. Ensure that Laundry Equipment and adequate supplies are properly maintained. Duties

Requirements
Grade 12 with 1 year appropriate experience as a Housekeeper. Communication skills and client liaison. Administrative skills and conflict resolution skills. Computer Literacy Certificate and interpersonal relations.

Duties
Allocation of student’s nurses in the residence. Responsible for controlling access to the residence. Control of public visitors to the residence. Be able to handle pressure. Manage conflicts and maintain discipline at the residence. Manage access cards. Maintain neatness and cleanliness. Compile a list of students’ nurses per floor and update it on monthly basis. Report all the maintenance issues to Facility Office on a daily basis. Compile monthly reports and submit statistics to the supervisor. Maintain team work and good working relationship with all stakeholders. Attend to all meetings, training and courses were necessary and give feedback.
