Minopex Learnership Programme (Grade 12 Required)

The Engineering Learnership positions will be based at Minopex and its subsidiary sites.


  • Minimum Grade 12 with Maths & Science / N2 / NCV Level 4 with relevant subjects:
  • Diesel Mechanic: Maths, Science, Engineering Drawing, Diesel Trade Theory
  • Electricians: Maths, Engineering Science, Industrial Electronics, Electrical trade Theory
  • Fitter including Machining: Maths, Science, Fitter Trade Theory, Engineering Drawing
  • Plater Welder: Maths, Science, Plater Theory, Plating and Structural Steel Drawings
  • Rigger Ropesman: Maths, Science, Rigging Trade Theory, Engineering drawing
  • Instrument Mechanician: Maths, Science, Industrial Electronics, Instrument Trade Theory
  • Millwright: N6 / S4 Maths, Science, Fitter Trade Theory, Engineering Drawing, Industrial Electronics, Electrical Trade Theory

Game Management

  • ICS, SOP and checklist adhered to at all times.

  • Float meets the requirements of player action.
  • All equipment is functioning prior to start of shift.

Guest Service

  • Complaint, disputes and suggestions are actioned / escalated as per SOP.
  • Staff are able to pass on all relevant information (including promotion information, functions, facilities, etc.) to guests.
  • Staff uniform, hygiene and appearance is maintained as per SOP.
  • Guests treated in line with individual needs.

6 Months Image Processing Learnerships

This is a 6 month trainee contract position.

An entrance test covering basic geography and image knowledge will be required. An intensive 2 week training course will be given at the start of the contract. Trainees will use graphic software such as Photoshop to edit and Quality Control digital mapping imagery. Only short listed candidates will be contacted to attend an initial assessment to test skills & capabilities. Based on results candidates will be called back for an interview. Remuneration will be discussed at interview stage.

Key Responsibilities:

Undergo training and perform digital Imagery enhancements

Undergo training for checking and quality control of all aspects of digital mapping production

Following successful training, perform map production tasks as directed

Provide administrative information as required including timesheets, QA records, production reports, project plans and other administrative documentation

Commit to safe work practices and show willingness to embrace the Company’s Safety Management System

Willingness to be trained and learn all aspects of digital mapping production

Other work as directed.

Clicks has an exciting opportunity available to complete a Learnership Programme to qualify as a Pharmacist Assistant. The position reports to the Pharmacy Manager.

Purpose and Objectives

Learnership Programme:

  • Successfully complete a National Certificate: Pharmacy Assistance Learnership Programme (Learner Basic Pharmacist Assistant) and a Further Education and Training Certificate: Pharmacist Assistance (Learner Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant) through the accredited Pharmacy Healthcare Academy
  • A structured learning programme that consists of a theoretical and practical component and that leads to a qualification that is registered on the National Qualification Framework (NQF)

As a Learner on this programme you will be required to meet the following objectives:

  • Successfully complete the Learnership Training Contracts at a registered Clicks Pharmacy and under an approved tutor
  • Attend the required training interventions and successfully complete the competency assessments
  • Submit a Portfolio of Evidence
  • Provide support to the healthcare team in one of the Click’s Pharmacies under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist and within the legal scope of practice as outlined by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)


Qualification requirement:

  • Essential requirement: completion of Grade 12 with a minimum of 50% in Mathematics (or 60% in Mathematical Literacy) and 50% in English
