Job Description To train in order to develop, implement and manage business and financial plans for Depot Operations to satisfy service needs and optimise, develop and safeguard resources and eliminate waste. Focus will be on warehouse and operations design. The candidate will need to be directly involved in spatial design, flow studies and rolling out of best practice.
Key Duties & Responsibilities Responsibilities

-Plan for Depot and Warehouse effectiveness
-Understand resourcing for Depot effectiveness and demonstrate the ability to implement plans to improve;
-Optimise Depot performance: Warehouse and Distribution; Assistance with the management of Key Performance Areas;
-Monitor the execution of Depot plans;
-Analyse customer service and design plans to close gaps;
-In depth knowledge of Excellence and Owner Driver audits and the ability to design and implement plans to close gap;
-Routine reporting duties, Monthly analysis on Key Performance Indicators;
-Perform administrative duties;
-Coordinate activities between Depots and Regional office;
-Handle customer queries & complaints;
-Ensure optimal asset utilisation;
-Design and implement warehouse layouts to support optimized logistics costs and maximize stock holding capacity
-Supervise and manage multidisciplinary project teams on warehouse related projects (racking, docks and expansion)
-Liaise with stock planning team to adjust minimum and maximum inventory levels as business need demands
-Support Projects engineering team with line capability studies and line performance acceptance tests

Minimum of 3-4 years work experience;
Supervisory / Management experience will be an advantage.
Proven capability in warehouse and process design will be an advantage.
Minimum requirement is a BSC – Industrial Engineering
