Sage is committed to youth skills development by providing graduates with an opportunity to gain work experience to ready them for the corporate world. Applications are invited for an Internship Programme for unemployed graduates between the age of 18 and 35. The Internship program will run for a period of twelve (12) months.
|Finance Operations Grad / InternOrder complianceLearn the requirements required for booking a saleInvestigate sales to ensure compliance to requirementsAuditors sample testing – extract supporting documentationAssist with Master data correctionsBillingRaising manual and bulk invoicesReasonability reviews of billingCredit notesLearn the credit note policy and Credit note governancePrepare, review and process credit notesDebit ordersReview and action debit order incidents on Netadmin; including debit order queriesLoading debit ordersReview rejected debit ordersCredit control functionLearn how to analyse the Accounts Receivable LedgerPhone customers (outbound)Contact customers via emailAssist with inbound calls from customersPerform debtor’s reconciliationsPrepare and sending dunning (demand letters)Attend to customer queries – credit control inboxReview Accounts receivable ledger for bad debt. Learn how to identify a bad debt or credit notePrepare and process debtors journalsReceipting functionReview and analyse unknown depositsReceipting of cash from bank to cashbook ledgerAllocate cash on debtors account to an invoice. Ensure accurate and timeous cash allocation.Ensure unallocated cash is investigated an allocated accordingly.Proactive follow up of unallocated cashReporting functionLearn the overall reporting for month end; including KPI’sAssist to compile month end reports and KPI’sAssist Record to Report function with audit requirementsReceipting of cash from bank to cashbook ledgerAdhocParticipate in departmental projects as requiredSkills, know-how and experience:Credit & collections process knowledgeSales cycle process knowledgeKnowledge of the process for receipting payments and allocation to a debtor account.Knowledge of general ledger reconciliationsKnowledge of excel – intermediate excel skills. |Transformation Grad / InternCollate quarterly BBEEE reports for the Director to table to all EXCO members and divisions.Continually assist with refine the company’s standard procedure documents for all areas of the scorecard in terms of the latest legislation changes and updates,Assistance in training managers and employees on the BBBEE scorecard,Generate and distribute preferential procurement reports monthly in conjunction with the procurement manager and all business owners or element owners.Oversee and manage the BBBEE system, BEE123Assistance the procurement manager when required,Assist with management of CSR projects;Provide Employment Equity reports to the Director to ensuring scorecard requirement are met and work with HR to submissions the EE report to the department of labour.Assist with all skills development initiatives, e.g. employee training, graduates programme etc.Assist with Work Skills Plan reports.Seek out black business development opportunities and assist in the development of such business.Ensuring audit and verification processes are done annually and coordinating the process with the verification agency from initial to final verification stage.BBBEE tracking and monitoring ensuring that information data is captured and maintained.Skills, know-how and experience:Must have:A completed Degree/Diploma in HR, Supply Chain or Procurement and Small Business ManagementEffective project management skillsExcellent English communication skills – written and spokenStrong administration and organisational skillsTeam playerTechnical / professional qualifications:Computer proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PPT, Excel)Apply for the Sage Transformation Graduate / Internship Programme|
