Fulfil the Group SDF function and administrate the employee orientation program

Job Functions Administration Industries Insurance Specification

1.Inform the Assupol Group on latest skills development trends
•Liaise with INSETA and related industry entities and disclose info to all relevant stakeholders
•Research and provide information on new industry development
•Manage skills development info on shared drives

2.Plan skills development as per clients expectations
•Develop workplace skills plans as per INSETA guidelines and templates
•Develop annual training report as per INSETA guidelines and templates
•Compile skills needs analysis
•Identify outcome of learning to ensure skills needs are addressed
•Develop and maintain the qualification database
•Organize graduation ceremonies

3.Schedule of skills development interventions
•Source providers for planned interventions
•Monitor actual interventions against planned interventions
•Address interventions shortfalls

4.Administrate skills development
•Audit all learning intervention records
•Assist in coaching administrators on learning intervention records shortfall
•Monitor all learning intervention records on shared drives


5.Advise on a quality management system for skills development
•Liaise with INSETA on policies, processes and procedures
•Maintain Assupol Group accreditation and scope status with INSETA
•Provide advice and support on quality management systems

6.Administrate discretionary grants and study assistance
•Apply for discretionary grants with INSETA
•Liaise with INSETA on all Learnership programs
•Manage study assistance programs
•Assist with internships orientation programs
•Compile the report for INSETA bursaries and vouchers

7.Manage employee orientation program
•Collect and standardize all learning material
•Co-ordinate the interventions
•Facilitate the interventions
•Ensure and monitor coaching plans for learners in the workplace

8.TCF
•To ensure that all clients are treated fairly when being informed on skills development
•Treat all clients fairly when planning, scheduling, facilitating and administrating skills development interventions

Requirements

FORMAL EDUCATION
• Occupational Directed Education Training and Development Practitioner Qualification (ETDP) or equivalent
• Relevant FAIS Fit and Proper qualification e.g. B.Com (as an advantage)

TECHNICAL/LEGAL CERTIFICATION
• Skills Development Facilitator Certificate

EXPERIENCE
• 2 years – skills development facilitator
• 2 years – training and development (in insurance will be advantage)
